Prabhu Deva, who lost his wife and one leg in an accident, lives as if his daughter is the world, but his daughter’s health suffers. It takes a lot of money to save him. Prabhu Deva decides to travel the wrong path for that money.
But some unexpected events on his journey will make him travel a different path, will he ultimately save his daughter or not? This is the story of the film ‘poikkal kuthirai’ which tells with many twists and turns.
Prabhu Deva who is a dance storm has turned into an acting storm in this film. He has done a great job as a legless man. Prabhu Deva, who has carefully acted everywhere from dancing, fighting and walking on one leg, has added strength to his character.
Raisa Wilson does not have a big job, but she does a great job.
Varalakshmi Sarathkumar’s classy performance and her screen presence add extra strength to the film.

Director Santhosh P. Jayakumar, who has brought out the actor within Prabhu Deva by pushing back his signature dance, and casting him in a one-legged role draws attention, the twists and turns in the story move the film briskly till the climax.
