The certainty of covid wave 3 is forcing the filmmakers to change the release dates at a rapid pace. The RRR team has announced the postponement of the film on the 1st of January 2022. A couple of new dates (18 March and 28 April) were announced on Jan 21st (10 days back). Covid wave 3 has been ineffective.
Various state governments started easing off the restrictions. Tamilnadu and Delhi are allowing 50% occupancy in theaters. Things are expected to be normal for film theatres in February. Hence films are gearing up for the release. With RRR movie confirming 25 March as it’s release date, all other films will reorient their release dates accordingly.
