Music director D Imman has always been synonymous in discovering new talents and establishing a domain for them in the world of music. His latest invention is the adorable and talented Thirumoorthy, who debuts as a playback singer through a beautifully composed number for Jiiva starrer “Seeru”. Parvathy, who has written lyrics for the song claims this to be an unforgettably emotional moment for her.
Lyric writer Parvathy says, “So far I have written songs for various situations, but penning lyrics for this song in ‘Seeru’ is a special moment for me. It’s really an honour for me to be part of a song that marks the debut of a talented playback singer like Thirumoorthy. I am teaming up with music director Imman after ‘Verasa Pogayilae’ from Jilla. After explaining to me the situation of this song, director Rathina Siva screened me some scenes placed around it, which helped me a lot in penning the lines. In fact, it was a baggage of big responsibility for me as the tune and visuals had been beautifully made and I had to pull it off efficiently. Soon after listening to the lines, both D Imman and Rathina Siva appreciated me. More than all, Thirumoorthy grasping the lines and commendably crooning it was the greatest highlight of the recording session. I was emotionally inclined, when he remembered some of his favourite lines and recited them for me later. I am extremely happy to be journeying along with music director D Imman consistently with hit numbers.”
Bankrolled by Dr. Ishari K Ganesh for Vels Film International, Rathina Siva has wielded megaphone for ‘Seeru’ that features Jiiva and Riya Suman in lead roles. The star-cast also comprises of Navdeep, who plays the antagonist. Gayathri Krishna and Satish will be appearing in important roles. Scheduled for worldwide release on December 20, 2019, the film has musical score by D Imman and cinematography handled by Prasanna Kumar.
