It’s been more than couple of decades and yet this missy of charismatic beauty keeps us enchanted. She’s never been in a hurry to extend her filmography, but has never missed an appealing offer by any chance. In fact, she has been a fervent believer of the motto that rather than focusing on the length of the character, the impact that it creates should be gauged. That’s deliberately illustrious with her upcoming film ‘U-Turn’, which is scheduled for worldwide release on September 13. With the film boasting of not just an ensemble star-cast, but with unlimited power houses, Bhumika Chawla looks sure-footed and confident about this film saying, “An artist gets recognition when they do different and challenging roles and it satisfies them as well. My role in ‘U Turn’ is unlike what I have done in the past. I’m excited to see the audience reaction about my performance,” says Bhumika Chawla.

Bhumika Chawla can be regarded as one among the rarest actresses to have shared screen space with many leading heroines. In fact, her friendly and congenial nature has won their hearts as well. In fact, she has never missed to be excited in appreciating their performances too. It goes the same here as she sings praises of Samantha’s performance in U Turn saying, “She is a terrific actress and on the sets, she is energetic and in this film, she did an extraordinary job.”

Shedding lights on the female centric films that are trending at this contemporary juncture, she adds, “I too featured in women centric films and the movies in this genre are considerably increasing. Our writers should come up with more such films and roles like in this film should also.”

Striding on the spree of having a Hindi and Tamil movie apart from U Turn, the actress says that she is getting decent offers from Tamil industry too. But the script and team combination should also work out. Ask her on how the journey of showbiz has been to her and she says, “I debuted in the year 1999 and it’s been two decades. Success and failure doesn’t affect me as my parents have taught me to treat both in the same manner.”
