Makers of Tamizh Padam 2.0 recently came up with a statement regarding the delay in the release of the movie.
‘We had earlier announced TP2.0 release date as May 25th, 2018, but we had to push it due to technical reasons. TP2.0 has huge amounts of visuals effects (CGI) work, mainly to show our lead actors in good light. Consequently, the work on our hero’s biceps & shoulder had been outsourced to a studio in LA, California & the heroine’s wrinkle-removal & under-eye work to a studio in Amsterdam. Due to the massive amount of VFX required in these areas we’ve had to reschedule our release. But fear not, we plan to Meet you soon in theatres,’ the release said.
The makers had already spoofed the audience by saying that the first single was a romantic number, however it actually was a revenge song composed for girls to scold their boy friends.
The song begins with the lyrics ‘Eva da Unnai Petha’ and also has lyrics such as ‘Adida Avana, Udhada Avana’. Shooting of the movie began last year. The team also released the first look poster of the movie in which hero Shiva is seen replicating the meditation scene of Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam.
Directed by C S Amudhan, the movie is slated to be released on 25 August 2018. The makers were also at their witty best as they had mentioned Tamilrockers as their piracy partners and that the movie would be released in the website on 26 August 2018.
