Shooting for Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivandha Vaanam was happening at a rapid pace in and around Chennai and was stopped due to the TFPC strike.
Now the shooting has resumed and another interesting update is that Vijay Sethupathi has joined the team. A shooting spot picture of the actor has been making the rounds in social media.
The movie also stars Simbu, Arun Vijay, Arvind Swamy, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Jyothikaa. Arvind Swamy and Jyothikaa will be playing husband and wife in the movie.
Sources close to the flick said that Jyothikaa acts as a feminist in the movie who is against male domination.
The makers are confident that her character will be much appreciated after the movie releases.
