It was recently announced that Trisha will playing the lead role in Kuttrapayirchi, a movie based on the life of India’s first woman detective Ranjani Pandit.
It was earlier said that Surabhi and Super Subbarayan are part of the cast. And now, it is said that Priyamani will also be joining the team.
Priyamani was last seen in K’Town in Chaarulatha in 2012. Kuttrapayirchi is set in 1980s and will be directed by Verniq, a former associate of Bala, and bankrolled by Sri Guru Jothi Films.
Shooting of the film is expected to begin in March and the pre-production works will begin this month.
