Shooting of Udhaynidhi Stalin’s upcoming flick Kanney Kalaimaney directed by Seenu Ramasamy began in Madurai on Monday.
The movie will have Tammannah playing the female lead.
Yuvan Shankar Raja will be the music composer and Vairamuthu will pen the lyrics for the songs.
Udhay’s recent release Nimir is faring well in the box office, besides winning critical acclaim. The film was directed by Priyadarshan.
Seenu Ramasamy is also working on Maamanidhan which has Vijay Sethupathi playing the lead. The film will have music by maestro Ilayaraja and his sons Karthik Raja and Yuvan Shankar Raja.
