Akshay Kumar who is awaiting the release of his upcoming flick Padman will soon be seen in the remake of Kanchana.
Sources say that talks are happening to acquire the remake rights and the official confirmation of the same is expected to be announced soon.
The movie which released in 2015 was the sequel of 2011 hit movie Muni directed and produced by actor Raghava Lawrence who has played the lead roles in both the flicks.
It may be noted that Sarathkumar played the role of a transgender in the movie which went to join the elite 100 crore club.
Akshay Kumar is also part on Shankar’s upcoming flick 2.0 which has Superstar Rajinikanth playing the lead.
