It was officially confirmed recently that the release of Superstar Rajnikanth starrer 2.0 will be postponed.
The movie was originally slated to released during January 2018 has been pushed to April 2018.
Now sources say that the reason for the delay was because of the VFX company which was supposed to do the graphic works for the film.
It is said that this company did not keep up its promise to complete the film on time and hence the project has been shifted hands to another VFX company.
It is also learnt that the makers of 2.0 will also be taking the legal route to sue the company.
The audio launch of the film was held in a grand function in Dubai last month.
Directed by Shankar, the flick has Bollywood hero Akshay Kumar playing the role of a scientist and Amy Jackson plays the female lead.
The movie is a sequel to 2010 block buster Enthiran.
