Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan wished each other for being awarded the prestigious NTR National Film awards of the Andhra Pradesh government.
The Superstar and Ulaganayagan won the awards for the year 2014 and 2016 respectively.
Soon after the announcement was made, Rajinikanth tweeted,’ I convey my heartfelt thanks and happiness for the prestigious #NandiAwards granted to me.’
Kamal too thanked the Andhra Pradesh government for the award and also wished Rajini.
‘Congratulations, Superstar.Rajinikanth for the NTR National award in 2016. Thank you Andhra for honouring me also, yet again. I am indebted to your continued support, which started early in my career. Kruthagnyathalu,’ he tweeted.
Rajini immediately thanked the Ulaganayagan and posted ,’ Thankyou Kamal… I wish you the same!!! Congratulations!’
The stars will receive the award at Amaravati, the new capital city of Andhra Pradesh near Vijayawada, in Jaunary 2018. The award includes five lakh rupees and a memento.
