The trailer of producer C V Kumar’s debut directorial venture Maayavan was released recently.
Touted to be a science-fiction thriller movie, Sundeep Kishan and Lavanya Tripathi play the lead roles in the movie.
The trailer reveals that Sundeep plays a cop in the movie who is deputed to solve a murder case.
The movie which was slated to be released on 1 September has now been postponed without announcing the new release date.
The star cast of the movie also includes Jackie Shroff and Daniel Balaji in supporting roles.
The movie will also be released as Maayavi in Telugu and the director has said the flick will be released in September.
The teaser of the movie was launched recently by actor Suriya. While Ghibran has rendered music for the flick, screenplay is handled by Nalan Kumarasamy
