A few months ago it was announced that the audio launch of Vijay’s upcoming flick Mersal will be done in the month of August.
Now sticking to their word, the makers of the movie have said that the album will be released on 20 August.
Directed by Atlee, this is the 61st film of the actor and is produced by Thenandal Studios banner.
Music for the album is by A R Rahman and this is the third time he has composed music for a Vijay film.
‘#AUG20MersalAudioFest #arrmersalmusic,’ the production house tweeted along with the poster of the audio launch details.
It is touted that Vijay plays triple for the first time in his career. The star cast also includes Kajal Agarwal, Samantha and Nithya Menon.
