The makers of Pandigai have pushed the release of the movie from 7 July to 14 July to give more time for the earlier released films to get some collection at the box office, as those films suffered due to theatres strike.
In a statement, the film’s producer Vijayalakshmi Agathiyan has confirmed the news and has also requested the producers of the movies slated to be released on 14 July to postpone their ventures.
‘I would request all the Producers of the movies who had planned to release on 14 July to push their release by a week to 21 July like we did which would help the entire industry,’ she requested.
In the release she also requested Tamil Film Producers Council, Tamilnadu Distributors Association and Tamilnadu Theatre Owners Association to help them on this issue.
Directed by Feroz, Kreshna plays a street fighter in the flick, while Kayal fame Anandhi plays the female lead.
