The lyricist has said that he will cut down his pay by fifteen per cent till the problem surrounding the cinema ticket pricing is solved.
Announcing his decision, he Tweeted, ‘Until the revision, I am willing to reduce 15% off my remuneration for songs and dialogues, if that would help the industry.’
He had earlier expressed that he is deeply saddened to see the cinema halls closed.
‘Disheartening to see cinema halls closed. Hope the tax is revised and the industry gets back on track,’ he had posted in his earlier Tweet.
