Simbu who has ventured in many departments of the cine industry will be donning a new avatar for Santhanam’s new movie Sakka Podu Podu Raja.
The actor will be composing the music of Santhanam’s next flick. Music is not new to Simbu as his father TR is a known musician and his younger brother Kuralarasan also made his debut as a music director in Idhu Namma Aalu.
The news was conifrmed by Simbu on his twitter account.
‘1st time as #MusicDirector 4 #SakkaPoduPoduRaja Only for coz it is @iamsanthanam. New journey begins, need your love & blessings. #GodBless,’ he had posted.
It may be noted that TR has also composed music for other heroes, however this will be the first time that a current generation young hero is composing music for a contemporary hero.
Sources also said that the move comes a goodwill gesture of the relationship the actor shares with VTV Ganesh, producer of the movie, and with Santhanam.
Santhanam was all excited about Simbhu being his music director and expressed his joy in twitter.

It may be noted that it was Simbu who introduced Santhanam on silver screen with Manmadhan.
