After the success of Kaashmora, Karthi has been busy with the shooting of Kaatru Veliyidai directed by Mani Ratnam.
The movie is touted to be a modern day romance and the posters of the film which were recently released also confirmed this.
Now sources reveal that the shooting has been wrapped up within a span of six months.
Karthi plays the role of an air pilot and Aditi Rao Hydari plays his love interest. The cast also includes RJ Balaji and Shradda Srinath.
The flick which has music by AR Rahman is expected to hit the screens in March 2017.
