The South Indian Business Achievers Awards – SIBA was held in Singapore on June 29th, 2016
The South Indian Business Achievers (SIBA), an internationally conducted award night, in association with Ernst & Young, that has brought together top business leaders and achievers from all over the globe with a South Indian lineage. The primary objective of the conference was to influence the future generation businessmen and entrepreneurs of the Southern states, and to engage with likeminded achievers from the community.
Organsied by Vibri Media, a Hyderabad based Media and Entertainment company, which also owns and promotes two rather successful entertainment properties, namely the Celebrity Cricket League (a franchise based T20 cricket tournament featuring the leading film stars from all over the country) and the South Indian International Movie Awards (annually held film awards show commemorating the very best of south Indian cinema). Both these properties have firmly established themselves over the last 5 years.
SIBA Awards, an annual event to be held on the sidelines of SIIMA, is aimed at celebrating the success of those entrepreneurs and business leaders from the South Indian community, who have made their mark and established their credentials across the world. SIBA recognised the outstanding work from individuals from across all businesses and professions within the South Indian Diaspora and acknowledged the accomplishments of the finest in the community.

A panel discussion was had amongst Mr Ajay Vidyasar (Regional Director, Asia Pacific – YouTube and Google Video) Mr Srihdar Gadhi, Founder and CEO of Paradigm Group and Hon. Minister Shri K.T. Rama Ramo, Cabinet Minister for IT E&C, MA & UD, Industries & Commerce, Mines & Geology, Public Enterprises and NRIAffairs – Govt. of Telangana, brought together from the entrepreneurial community on a common platform to discuss the rapid changes that the Indian entrepreneurial scene is undergoing. In addition, the panel also discussed the importance and impact of Technology and the concept of Internet of Things on Indian businesses, and their key relevance to an entrepreneur today.
In attendance were about 300 premier South Indian Businessmen from across the world, 25 Top Film Celebrities across South India, Ministers from the Govt. of Singapore, Ministers from the Govt. of India and Govt. officials from South Indian States. The highlight was a scintillating performance by the ever-green Usha Uthup that enthralled all the guests.
Adding glamour to the evening were Khushboo Sunder, Rana Daggubati, Lakshmi Manchu, Pragya Jaiswal, Amyra Dastur, Shubra Ayyapa, Vedhika, Neeraj Madhav and Rakul Preet Singh among many others.
