It’s that time of the year when the Black Lady descends upon the South Indian film fraternity, as the 63rd Britannia Filmfare Awards South is all set to stage a glamorous extravaganza yet again. The event held at at ITC Kakatiya, Hyderabad saw popular actress Rakul Preet Singh, Jitesh Pillai, Editor Filmfare Magazine and Vinay Subramanyam, Category Head, Health & Wellness, Britannia Industries Limited unveil the final list of nominees, each of whom would be vying for the coveted Black Lady on the mega night.

The 63rd Britannia Filmfare Awards is slated to take place on 18th June 2016, at Hyderabad International Convention Center (HHIC). Evolving over the years to become one of the most sought -‘after film award ceremonies in the country, the latest edition will acknowledge and applaud the best of the best, who delivered some of the most popular films and path breaking performances in 2015. Readers of Filmfare and movie buffs have cast their votes in across 10 categories covering some of the best performances and films across the spectrum, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. A special jury has been appointed to select the winners from the final list of nominations across these categories.
