Tamil Actor Vijay Planted Sapling on World Environment Day. World environment day (‘wed’) is celebrated every year on 5th June. The Brand Ambassador of “V Go Green” Campaign ACTOR ILAYATHALAPATHY VIJAY planted a sapling on this occasion and launched the year-long Campaign to save Mother Earth and to raise global awareness of the need to take positive environmental action. It is run by the United Nations environment programme (UNEP). The sapling plantation event (5th June, 2013) by Vijay at Us consulate, Chennai along with him we have Acting consul General Nick Manring, President Youth Exnora and Social Activist Abdul Ghani, General Secretary Youth Exnora Nisha Thota and Gainer Public Affair Officer Mr. David present during the event.
