For the first time in history, the musical maestro A.R. Rahman has not only sung all five songs in the Moonwalk album himself but is also making his acting debut with this film.
The highly anticipated grand audio launch of the “Moonwalk” film, held yesterday (January 4), turned into an unforgettable musical night.
The evening featured spectacular performances by A.R. Rahman and Prabhu Deva, along with several dance and musical acts, which greatly enthralled the audience.
Director Manoj NS thanked the cast and crew who helped make this film truly memorable. He also expressed his confidence that Moonwalk will bring immense joy and happiness to the audience in theaters.
The excitement reached its peak when A.R. Rahman appeared on stage for the first time. He immediately captivated the audience by performing all five songs from the “Moonwalk” film live, turning the evening into a true musical celebration.
Prabhu Deva, known as India’s Michael Jackson, with his usual energy and enthusiasm, danced to all five songs from the Moonwalk film, presenting a magnificent 10-minute dance tribute dedicated to A.R. Rahman.
His passion, precision, and unparalleled energy proved that time has not diminished his magic, leaving the audience wanting to see more of his dance. He danced on stage with his co-stars Yogi Babu, Aju Varghese, Arjun Ashokan, Satish, and choreographer Sekhar, making the evening even more lively and exciting.
Actor Yogi Babu revealed that he has played 16 different roles in this film, stating that he is playing a very important character that drives the narrative forward. He added that while the three looks released so far have already excited the fans, many more looks will be revealed in the coming days.
Actors Aju Varghese and Arjun Ashokan captivated the audience with their fluent Tamil speeches. They expressed their happiness at being a part of this special film, having worked alongside Prabhu Deva and A.R. Rahman. Arjun Ashokan’s ‘moonwalk’ dance moves received special applause from the audience.
