The much-anticipated action drama film “Meiyazhagan,” written and directed by C. Prem Kumar, is set to release worldwide on September 27, 2024. Produced by Jyothika and Suriya under the 2D Entertainment banner, the film features Karthi in the titular role, with an impressive ensemble cast including Arvind Swamy, Rajkiran, Sri Divya, Swathi Konde, Devadarshini, Jayaprakash, Sriranjani, Ilavarasu, Karunakaran, and Saran Shakthi.
Principal photography for “Meiyazhagan” commenced in November 2023 and was completed by late February 2024. The film was primarily shot in Chennai and Kodambakkam. The music for the film is composed by Govind Vasantha, with cinematography by Mahendiran Jayaraju and editing by R. Govindraj.
