Samantha, who is hired for money, is secretly taken away and kept in a secret place. In a place full of luxury, many women like Samantha are renters for money. Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, the owner of the place, provides all facilities for pregnant women and treats them with kindness.

Meanwhile, the pregnant women in the area pass out after having labor pains. Any information about them will not be known to others. Thus, Samantha embarks on an attempt to find out about the condition of the mysterious women, and the events that follow and the facts that come to light after that are unpredictable and shocking.

The director has taken the concept of surrogate mother system which has created a lot of buzz recently, the screenplay and the way it has been shot makes us sit on the edge of our seats from the beginning to the end of the film.

The heroine of the story, Samantha, who has acted in accordance with the lively storyline, has shown a different performance in the same role. The surrogate creeper with a pitiful face adds extra strength to the film with brisk performances in the scenes where he tries to find out the secrets. Who is Samantha during the climax scene? When it is revealed, he looks like an action hero and gets applause.

Varalakshmi’s looks and performance are classy and she perfectly fits the role of portraying the mindset of beauty-conscious women.

Unni Mukundan playing the role of a doctor, Rao Ramesh playing the role of a minister, Sampath Ram, Chatru, Murali Sharma playing the role of police officers have all done their job well.

M. Sukumar’s cinematography shows most of the scenes that take place in one place from various angles and makes it enjoyable. Even though it is the same story, all the scenes traveling in two domains are shot magnificently.

Although the songs don’t stand out in the mind, the background music travels with the story and at many points adds extra vibrancy to the screenplay and grabs attention.

Cinematographer Marthand K. Venkatesh keeps the film moving at a fast pace by keeping both the stories of Samantha’s story and the story of the police team investigating the murder case moving in the right way.

Hari-Harish, who has written and directed the story, has given an excellent suspense thriller genre film using the surrogate mother method.

The directors who make the audience connect with the film in the very first scene move the subsequent scenes at high speed and cleverly manipulate the scenes to make the film unpredictable till the climax.

Bringing to light the business behind women’s beauty and the perils that come with it, directors Hari-Harish’s menacing Making God, what happens next? They make you enjoy watching the entire film with the expectation that.

All in all, ‘yasotha’ is an unexpected suspenseful, astonishing piece of making.
