The title of the new film starring Ashok Selvan in the lead role has been announced as ‘Anbil Avan’. The film’s first look and title teaser have also been released.
Directed by R. Karthikeyan, ‘Anbil Avan’ stars Ashok Selvan, Preethi Mukundhan, Sabu Mon, Abdul Samad, Kathir Balu, Maha Delhi Ganesh and others.
The story has been written by director Vignesh Raja, while Gautham Rajendran handles the cinematography and Govind Vasantha composes the music. R.K. Selva is responsible for the editing, and Manikandan Srinivasan is the art director.
Produced as an entertaining and beautiful love story, the film is jointly produced by K. Karuna Moorthy, Ashok Selvan and Abinaya Selvam under the banners of Ayngaran International and Happy High Pictures.
The film is currently planned for release in September. The first look and title teaser launch event was held in Chennai, attended by producer Abinaya Selvam, Kavitha Pandian, actor Ashok Selvan, actress Preethi Mukundhan, director R. Karthikeyan and other members of the film’s team.

“After Oh My Kadavule, we patiently waited for a good story. When director Vignesh Raja narrated this story to us, all of us liked it. Ashok Selvan also gave us his complete trust and cooperation.
We are working towards completing all the post-production work and releasing the film in September. From today, we have also begun promotional activities to take the film to audiences across all sections.
This is the second film to be released under our production after Oh My Kadavule. All of us have worked extremely hard and are presenting this as a good creation to the audience. I request everyone to support the film.
After Por Thozhil and Blue Star, Ashok Selvan received numerous opportunities. However, he chose Anbil Avan and gave the film his complete dedication and cooperation. I thank all the actors, actresses and technicians who worked on this film.”
