[31/07, 6:35 pm] Rockyq, New: Following the enthusiastic reception for the film, the cast and crew met with media friends and expressed their gratitude for the movie’s success.

During the event, members of the cast and crew, along with the lead actors, participated and shared several interesting details about the film with the journalists.

Lyricist Muthamizh said:

“Greetings to everyone. I am extremely happy to have received the opportunity to write the song ‘Thoduvaanam’ for the film Anbe Diana. It gives me great joy that the song, set to the beautiful music of composer Bharath Shankar and paired with lovely visuals, has reached the audience.

The production house, Million Dollar Studios, has previously made three films that received excellent responses from audiences. I had long wished to meet its producer, Yuvaraj. Similarly, director Pari Ilavazhagan has carved a niche for himself in both direction and acting. I had wanted to meet him too. Through music director Bharath, I got the chance to work on this film and also meet them. I thank Bharath for that.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to the producers who gave me this opportunity, director Pari Ilavazhagan, and Sathya Karikalan for his contribution to the production.

I congratulate all the actors and technicians who worked on this film. In particular, actor Gopi is my junior from college. He has delivered a standout performance that everyone will notice. As his senior, I am proud to speak about him.

I also extend my sincere thanks to the media friends and audiences who supported the film’s success. Thank you.”

Lyricist Pakkiyam Shankar said:

“Greetings to all. Even before Anbe Diana went on floors, director Pari Ilavazhagan contacted me and said he wanted a memorable song like those in Jigarthanda. From that first conversation itself, I gained confidence that this film would be a success.

Later, I met music director Bharath Shankar. Working with him was a very pleasant experience. That’s when I also got to know producer Yuvaraj Ganesh closely.

Although the film is set in North Chennai, it does not resort to the usual violent tropes. Instead, it tells a beautiful love story without knives or blood. That is the film’s biggest strength. Director Pari has broken the stereotype that North Chennai stories must follow a certain pattern and has created a colourful, emotional film.

One day, Pari told me, ‘Fifteen years ago, when you were working on a film, I met you as an assistant director.’ I didn’t remember it, but I believe he remembered me fondly because I must have treated him with affection back then. That made me very happy.

[31/07, 6:36 pm] Rockyq, New: Production houses like Million Dollar Studios are essential to create heartwarming, family-friendly films. In today’s environment, making and releasing such films is not easy. I extend my appreciation and thanks to producer Yuvaraj Ganesh and the team at Neo Castle Creations. I also thank music director Bharath Shankar and everyone else who worked on this film.

My wish is that more good family films like Anbe Diana continue to be made. I was especially delighted to see audiences laughing heartily in the second half. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this success. Vanakkam.”

Lyricist Mohan Rajan said:

“Greetings to everyone. I extend my heartfelt thanks to all the media and press friends who helped take Anbe Diana to the audiences.

This is my fourth film with Million Dollar Studios. It is also my fourth time standing on the success celebration stage of this banner. I thank producer Yuvaraj Ganesh for continuously giving me these opportunities.

Every film from Million Dollar Studios has centred around ‘love’ in some form. Good Night spoke about love between husband and wife. Lover captured the relationship between lovers. Tourist Family conveyed humanitarian love. Similarly, Anbe Diana beautifully presents the idea that love and affection transcend caste and religious boundaries. The journey of this production house in choosing such stories is both high-quality and very much needed in today’s times.

Million Dollar Studios continues to select good stories. I am confident that their upcoming films will also receive great attention.

Director Pari Ilavazhagan and music director Bharath Shankar are passionate creators. Their admiration for Goundamani Sir is immeasurable. If the two sit and talk, their conversation will be filled with Goundamani’s dialogues and humour. Watching their enthusiasm is a delightful experience.

I am very happy to have written four songs for this film. After this, I feel like ‘stealing’ director Pari’s pen for the next project, because he has great talent not just in direction but also in writing lyrics. I am glad to have worked in the same film alongside lyricists Pakkiyam Shankar and Uthaman.

Music director Bharath Shankar is not only talented but also always positive. Working with him was a pleasant experience.

Actor Gopi has delivered an excellent performance. The moment I first heard the story, I knew his character would be celebrated by audiences. That has come true today.

I wish Sathya Madam, Saravanan Sir, and the entire production team continued success with many more hit films. Sudharsan’s performance was also outstanding. I hope he gets many more good films and achieves success.

My sincere thanks to the entire cast and crew, media friends, and audiences who made this success possible. Thank you.”

Producer Sathya Karikalan said:

“Greetings to everyone. It is a matter of great joy that we have all gathered today to celebrate the success of Anbe Diana. I extend my heartfelt thanks and best wishes to everyone who contributed to this success.

This is the first film production for Neo Castle Creations. Until now, I have been working in the education sector, particularly with students preparing for competitive exams. Cinema has been not just a new experience for me, but a meaningful journey.

From the very first step of this journey, Mr. Saravanan Sir guided and encouraged me with confidence. Some people show you a door, some hold it open, but very few introduce you to the world beyond it. In that sense, Saravanan Sir is the key person who brought us into the world of cinema. I thank him wholeheartedly.

I also extend my deepest gratitude to Million Dollar Studios and producer Yuvaraj Ganesh for partnering with us with full confidence on our very first production. It is heartening that a banner that consistently delivers successful films stood shoulder to shoulder with us. Yuvaraj is not a single person; he has a strong team behind him. We are continuing this journey as one family.

I believe that just as good books can change the thinking of a generation, good films have the power to change societal thinking. The true purpose of cinema is to unite people and inspire positive change.

In that regard, director Pari Ilavazhagan has beautifully conveyed themes of love, equality, and individual freedom in Anbe Diana through a simple, humorous, and entertaining screenplay without being preachy. I congratulate and thank him for that.

Actress Ramya Rangnathan has lived the role of an Anglo-Indian girl very naturally. Roja Madam, Chethan Sir, Gopi, and all the other actors have immersed themselves in their characters and delivered excellent performances. I thank them all.

A film’s success is not created by actors and the director alone. It is the collective effort of assistant directors, the music director, cinematographer, art director, technicians, distributors, and everyone behind the scenes. We thank every single person who worked on this film.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the audiences, press and media friends, and everyone who celebrated the film on social media for their support of Anbe Diana.”
