After the success of “Thalaivan Thalaivi,” Pandiraj has directed this as his 12th film, exploring a completely new genre. Known for trying something new in each of his films, this time he has combined thriller and comedy elements to create a family entertainer with “Parimala & Co.”
The story of the film revolves around a unique family. The distinctive personalities of the family members and the unusual events they encounter form the core of the story. Beginning in Chennai and traveling through Coimbatore to Palakkad, the film is designed to engage the audience with a mix of thriller elements and comedic moments.
With the release of the first look, the unique appearances and personalities of the characters featured in it have sparked curiosity among fans.
Jayaram and Urvashi play the lead roles, joined by young actor Santosh Soban in an important role, with Sanjana Krishnamoorthy as his pair. Another romantic pair in the film is Sandy and Ananthika Sanilkumar.
Additionally, comedian Yogi Babu, who won over audiences with his humor, reunites in a full-length role in this film after the success of “Thalaivan Thalaivi.” Director and actor Mysskin appears in a significant role as a completely different kind of police officer. Singampuli and Bucks, among other notable actors, also play distinctive roles.
With filming completed, the movie is currently in its final stages of post-production, which is progressing rapidly. The team is planning to release the film in theaters very soon.
“Parimala & Co” is produced by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions, in association with Tamilkumaran Productions Pvt Ltd and Pasanga Productions. Cinematography is handled by George C. Williams, while Foxn makes his debut as the music composer.
