A press meet for the upcoming Tamil thriller-comedy-drama film “Parimala & Co”, directed by Pandiraj, was held grandly in the presence of media representatives and members of the film industry.
Known for consistently delivering family entertainers in Tamil cinema, director Pandiraj has now ventured into a completely fresh genre with “Parimala & Co”, his 12th directorial venture following the success of Thalaivan Thalaivii.
As the film gears up for release soon, the movie’s cast and crew participated in a lively interaction with the press.

Producer G.K.M. Tamilkumaran welcomed everyone to the event and shared that he has also acted in a small role in the film.
He said the entire responsibility of the film was confidently handed over to Pandiraj and praised the director’s hard work and dedication. According to him, the entire team worked together like a family, which helped shape the film into a beautiful creation.

Director Pandiraj revealed that the story for “Parimala & Co” was written three years ago and initially had titles like “Parimala Family” and “Sweet Home” before settling on the final title.
He said hearing producer Tamilkumaran laugh wholeheartedly while listening to the script gave him confidence that the film would work with audiences.
Pandiraj added that the film felt half-successful once Jayaram and Urvashi agreed to be part of it. He praised the dedication of the entire cast and crew, especially Urvashi for continuing the shoot even during a difficult personal situation.
He also thanked Mysskin, Sandy Master, cinematographer George C. Williams, and debut music composer Foxn for their immense contribution.
About the Film
The story revolves around an unusual family and the unique incidents that unfold around them. Beginning in Chennai and travelling through Coimbatore and Palakkad, the film blends thriller elements with humor and emotional family moments.
Jayaram and Urvashi play the lead roles, while Santosh Sobhan appears in an important role opposite Sanjana Krishnamoorthy. Sandy Master and Ananthika Sanilkumar appear as another young pair.
Popular comedian Yogi Babu plays a significant full-length role, while Mysskin appears as a unique police officer. Singampuli and several other actors are also part of the cast.
The film is produced by Lyca Productions under the banner of Subaskaran, in association with Tamilkumaran Productions Pvt Ltd and Pasanga Productions.
