India’s leading OTT platform ZEE5 has established a strong presence in the entertainment market with a variety of films and web series. One such successful release is the web series Thadayam, which premiered on February 27 on ZEE5.
Starring Samuthirakani and Shivada Nair in the lead roles, the series has received tremendous appreciation from audiences within just a few days of its release. The show has crossed 100 million streaming minutes, marking a significant milestone.

“Usually, it takes several weeks to fully gauge the reception of a series after its release. However, Thadayam reached 100 million streaming minutes even before completing a week, in fact two days earlier. I consider this a huge achievement.
Many series such as Vilangu and Ayali were previously released on ZEE5 and received great responses. But compared to them, Thadayam has achieved this number of viewing minutes in a much shorter time. This success belongs mainly to the audience. Without their support, this would not have been possible. We thank everyone wholeheartedly and hope viewers will continue supporting our upcoming projects as well.”
