Leading OTT platform ZEE5 has announced that the action-thriller film ‘Mask’, starring Kavin and Andrea Jeremiah, which was recently released and received a warm response, will begin streaming on the platform from January 9, 2026.
The film is written and directed by debutant Vignarajan Ashok. It is produced by The Show Must Go On and Black Madras Films, and presented by Vetrimaaran’s Grass Root Film Company.
Mask is a gripping action-thriller. The story revolves around Velu (Kavin), a private detective who believes that money and profit are everything in life. His life is turned completely upside down when a crime investigation draws him into a web involving a mysterious masked gang, powerful organizations operating in the name of charity, and secrets capable of shaking the lives of several politicians. As the investigation intensifies, Velu is forced to confront not only the truth behind the crime but also the price of his own actions.
Speaking about the film, actor Kavin said,
“Mask had a successful theatrical run and received great appreciation. I’m happy that it will now reach an even wider audience through ZEE5. Velu is a layered and unique character, and I believe more viewers will enjoy exploring the depth of this role.”
Director and producer Vetrimaaran stated,

The film features music composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, cinematography by R. D. Rajasekhar, and editing by R. Ramar.
