BTG Universal’s third production, the stylish action film “Retta Thala” starring Arun Vijay in the lead role and directed by “Maan Karate” director Girish Thirukumaran, will release in theaters worldwide on December 18, 2025.
The teaser of the film, which created great anticipation among the fans since the announcement of the film, received a huge response from the film enthusiasts and fans. Now, the film team has announced the official release date and excited the fans.
The film, which is completely a colorful entertainer with a mix of stylish action and romance, has Arun Vijay playing a dual role in two different characters.
The film stars Arun Vijay in the lead role, with Siddhi Ithnani as his partner. Along with them, Tanya Ravichandran, Harish Peradi, Yogesh Swamy, John Vijay, and Balaji Murugadoss play important roles.
Mr. Bobby Balachandran, who is known worldwide in the software industry including data privacy and cyber forensics, has entered the Tamil film industry through BTG Universal.
Earlier, the horror film “Demandi Colony 2” produced by this company, directed by director Ajay Gnanamuthu and starring Arulnithi, was a blockbuster success. Next, the film “Chennai City Gangster” directed by director Vikram Rajeshwar and starring Vaibhav and Athulya was also very well received.
Following these two successful films, producer Mr. Bobby Balachandran has made “Retta Thala”, the third production of BTG Universal, a mega budget film, the biggest work in Arun Vijay’s film career.
