Sun Next, one of the leading OTT platforms in South India, is releasing its next direct OTT release, “Rambo”, as a special film for the upcoming Diwali on October 10th.
The film, starring Arulnithi in the lead role, is directed by acclaimed director Muthaiah, who has given compelling rural commercial films like Komban, Kuttipuli, Pulikuthi Paandi, and Viruman. Breaking away from his usual style, this time focusing on city life, “Rambo” has emerged as an action-packed commercial entertainer set in a city backdrop.
The story begins when a brave young boxer tries to help a woman (Thanya Ravichandran) and then focuses on the dramatic events that happen in his life. Under Muthaiah’s trademark direction, the film is set to be an action-packed, action-packed film with emotional elements.
Director Muthiah said about the film, “This film gave me the opportunity to tell a new story in a different style, different from my style. Working with Arulnidhi was an exciting experience. I am sure the audience will celebrate ‘Rambo’.”
Bigg Boss fame Ayesha is making her big screen debut with this film. Malayalam actor Ranjith Sajeev is also playing the villain. Harish Peradi and VTV Ganesh are also playing important roles.
Renowned cinematographer R.D. Rajasekhar has handled the cinematography for the film, while leading music composer Ghibran has composed the music. “Rambo” is an action, action-packed and emotional entertainer set in a city backdrop.
The first look and trailer of the film have already received a good response from the fans and cinema enthusiasts.
