Produced by Vishnu Vishal Studios and Wales Film International, the sequel to the blockbuster hit “Katta Kusthi 2” starring Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lakshmi, directed by Cella Ayyavu, which was released in 2022 and released with a grand pooja, “Katta Kusthi 2” kicked off today with a grand pooja.
Earlier, the promo video released yesterday on the occasion of the film’s announcement received a huge response from the fans and went viral all over the internet. In it, Vishnu Vishal, Isari K Ganesh, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Karunas, Kali Venkat, and Munishkanth were also seen along with director Cella Ayya. The promo, which was made up of belly-churning comedy, revealed that this film will also be a threat.
Although the story of the previous part has ended, the film is being developed as a commercial entertainment film that everyone will enjoy, recording the main problems found in everyone’s homes in a humorous way in the sports drama genre.
The pair of Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lakshmi, who starred in the first part, are again playing the hero and heroine. In addition, Karunas, Kali Venkat, Munishkanth, and Gajaraj, who starred in the first part, are also continuing. Actor Karunakaran joins them in an important role.
Vishnu Vishal Studios, which produced the first part, is jointly producing the film on a grand budget with Vels Film International. Supra, Aryan Ramesh, and Ishaan Saxena of Ivy Entertainment are working as co-producers.
The shooting is planned to be held in Chennai, Ambasamudram, Pollachi, and Palakkad in a single phase.
