Manik Jai, who directed Paramu and Celebrity, is directing the third film ‘Kaimera’. He played the lead role in the film ‘Vachukvaa’ and turned director with the film ‘Paramu’. He has also directed and acted in the film Celebrity, which is being made in Tamil and Telugu Hindi. Manik Jai has now completed directing the film ‘Kaimera’.
LNT Ethish is playing the lead role in this film. Tharai Krishnan, Ranjith Kumar and director Manik Jai are playing different roles and another important role. The heroines of the story are Soumya, Krishna Nandu and Gyaneshwari.
This film is based on the idea that if animal cells are injected into the human body, the human nature will change to animal nature. ‘Chimera’, which is being made into a pan-India film, will soon be released in five languages – Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
The audio launch of the film, which has music composed by Vignesh Raja, was held yesterday evening at the Saligramam Prasad label in Chennai.
The film crew was accompanied by special guests including Directors Association President R.V. Udayakumar, Directors Association General Secretary Perarasu, Director Meera Kathiravan and actress Komal Sharma.
Speaking at the event,
Producer and director Manik Jai said,

“LNT Ethish, who acted in this film, acted with me in the film Celebrity. The reason for the creation of this film is VFX Rohit. This is the story that was created at that time when he said that the editing of the film Celebrity would be a little delayed. Ethish said that I will act at that time. I said that it is a character that is the opposite of your real character. I said that you have acted better than I thought. You have acted better than I thought. Both Soumya Krishna Nandu and Ranjith have acted in competition. Ranjith has been with me since the first film. He has also given an excellent performance in this film without any rehearsal. This film was shot directly in Tamil and Telugu Hindi, some Only the actors have acted in this from Bangalore,” he said. Five songs in the film, one by Mohan Rajan and the other four by Kavidarko.
While speaking, music composer Vignesh Raja said,
“There are five songs in this film. The film is being developed as a science thriller. All the scenes shot for the film were scary and challenging to work on,” he said.
While Rohit, who did the VFX work, said,
By nature, some people have a bit of animalistic nature. When this animalistic nature goes to extremes, it will have some impact on other people and this society and the need to ensure that it does not increase has been beautifully expressed by director Manik Jai. In today’s environment, some women are addicted to drugs. Even though men and women are equal, some have started competing with men by drinking alcohol and using drugs, and the reason for such competition is that both parties do not understand the mind. As long as the mind is our slave, we can be kings. If that fate is for creatures with limited intelligence like a fish going towards a bait, or a moth going towards a lamp, then humans with five senses should be vigilant,” he said today.
Actor Tharai Krishnan spoke,
“I had acted in Manik Jai’s film Paramu. When I asked if there was a chance in this film, he said I would give it to him in the next film, but it was a bit of a difficult role. However, he said come to the shoot and we will see. But on the first day of the shoot, he made me stand with a rope. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to act in this film,” he said.

Heroine Soumya spoke,
“I have known director Manik Jai for 13 years. He is a hard worker. He keeps thinking about what the current generation lacks. What the future generation needs. I thank the director for discovering the talent in me and giving me the opportunity to act. There is an animal nature hidden in humans. They often act by hiding it. Sometimes it comes out without them knowing. The director has made it clear. The hero of this film has good acting skills. But it is surprising why he did not get opportunities. But if there are people with money and influence, even those without talent get opportunities,” he said.
While speaking, Kavi Karko said,
I have written four songs in this film. I have written the two travel songs in it, My Life, My Loneliness, from those experiences.”
Speaking on the occasion, LNT Etish, the hero,
“My role in this gave me something. This film has come out well. Sivarajkumar, who came here recently, spoke in Tamil very well. Of course, I will speak in Tamil when I speak at a similar event in my next film,” he assured.
Speaking on the occasion, Meera Kathiravan,
“There is always a place for talented people in Tamil cinema. It is a little late. Don’t feel sorry for that. There are many people like directors R.V. Udayakumar and Perarasu who are examples for that.”
Director Perarasu said,
“I could see that the hero of the film was a little confused whether to speak in Kannada or Tamil, whether it would be wrong if he spoke Kannada. We will accept whatever you say in Tamil Nadu. Language is not a problem for us. We will only look at talent. If we catch Rajinikanth, we will celebrate him by giving him the title of superstar. We will celebrate Saroja Devi as a self-made Baingli. But if we send a Tamil actress from here, will anyone there call her a Tamil Baingli?
The first language of the world is Tamil. Telugu came from it. Malayalam was born. They have been told that Kannada was born from it. We believe in this. If Kannada is different and Tamil is different, it is okay. We will not have any discussion. There is no connection between language and art in Tamil land. Bringing a thriller in a trailer is a big deal. But when we see it, it also created a confusion. The reason is that 90 percent of us are animals here. Then Satankulam, today Thiruppuvanam.. They have beaten a person to death without any investigation. How can they be human? They are animals. Most people in the country have more animality. Humanity has decreased.
Today, the culture has become more like drugs, and cinema people should be a little more careful. If someone in the country falls down after drinking water, it is a normal thing. If a cinema person is like that, it becomes a national problem there. Actor Srikanth has been arrested for using drugs. It was wrong to be in that habit. It was also the right thing to be arrested. But did they show anyone the face of the person who raped a woman in Anna University? Have they shown the faces of the criminal policemen involved in the Thiruppuvanam police station incident anywhere? Does anyone remember? But it is surprising to portray an actor as a terrorist. Even a photograph of a person who sold drugs worth crores has never come out like this. Therefore, cinema people should be careful, realizing that if we make a mistake like this, we will be shown to the world as traitors. But They don’t show those who have committed treason like that.
There are many animals who spew hatred even on social media. They criticize a film without even watching it and then trash it. Such a disease has come now. If they don’t like it, they trash the film as if the people themselves don’t like it. There has never been a story like this Chimera film in Tamil cinema. This new effort by director Manik Jai should be a success,” he said.
Director R.V. Udayakumar said,
“When I was working at Gemini Studios, the 50th anniversary of the Kannada film industry was celebrated. When it was held, they sent me and my friend director Raja Ravi. Rajkumar sir was coming to that event. The then Chief Minister, Ramakrishna Hegde, Soukar Janaki Amma. Vanisree, Aarthi, Vishnuvardhan, along with our superstar Rajinikanth were all on stage. I saw with my own eyes how they handled this language issue. Soukar Janaki Azhaga started in Kannada and started speaking in Tamil. Immediately. They made a sound from below saying, speak in Kannada. She stopped speaking. Before that. When Saroja Devi finished speaking, she said that Tamil cinema had given me more opportunities. She started making noise again. Why did this come and talk about the language? We use. We use language to evoke any emotion… There was a big commotion at that place. That emotion was evoked, people. After that. Rajkumar sir came and calmed everyone down.
I like Rajini sir. Many people like Rajini sir. Some people don’t. He is a person who amazed me.. At that time I am not a big Rajini fan. But at that event. Look, there is a speech that Rajini sir gave to his mother.. A wonderful speech.. I don’t know if he remembered it himself.. At that time. He spoke in Kannada.. When he spoke in Kannada, he said, this is wrong. Here.. Rajkumar called me when I wanted to act and said, “You are all black. You cannot be an actor. Don’t go and look for something else to do.” He chased me away.. But the only person who called me and asked me to act was Balachander sir.. That’s it. When I said that, everything was quiet. They said. Language is. It is a tool to tell others what we think..
We don’t have to take language very seriously and fight. Art is a feeling that transcends language. For this art, especially for the art of cinema, language should not be an obstacle, a hindrance, or a problem.. This is Chennai, a place where Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, all four languages were made.. As far as the cinema industry is concerned, they speak in Kannada on one set. The same set is empty. Tamil actors go and act in the same film. Here is Rama Rao, there is MJ, on this side is Sivaji sir, on this side is Rajkumar, on that side is Vishnuvardhan. Everyone gathered and said how beautiful our cinema was, but today it has disappeared into a caravan. A caravan. Let’s recover it from that. If we recover this cinema from the caravan, it will be a big help for us. Success will come.
Mostly, even the big heroes today don’t even know that their story was heard. They used to torture us all and ask us to tell them the right story. As soon as they started getting paid more than a hundred crores, they stopped listening to stories,” he said.
