Produced by PVSN Prasad and Sreenithi Sagar under Rice East Entertainment and Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra, Gavin’s starrer ‘Star’ directed by Ilan will hit the theaters on May 10.

I want to buy a house… I want to buy a car… I want to open a shop and do business… Everyone who travels towards that dream is a star. This is what this film says. We should not hurt anyone on that journey. With love.. without giving up on that dream… with a stubborn mind.. the journey will continue, won’t it..! That is what this film is about.
A boy in the 1980’s.. He was about 20 years old. He comes to Chennai from Madurai with the dream of becoming a big actor. Eighty is 90. It is 2000. 2010 also passes. is passing. This journey continues for more than 35 years. Now he is 55 years old. At this age he got an opportunity to act in the film ‘Raja Rani’. His long-held dream is coming true. Producer Sagar said, “I was in touch with director Ilan before telling the story of ‘Star’. Then he told me a story through video. The way he tells the story.. the way he prepares himself for it.. I liked all this. In this regard, I told the executive producer Vinoth to work with Ilan.

At that time, the film ‘Tada’ was released and became a success. While watching ‘Tata’, I felt happy that Tamil film industry has got a promising actor. I agreed to produce the film when Ilanum told me that Gavin is the hero.

Film host Pradeep E. Raghav said, “I have completed the preview of Love Today in a week. But I took twenty days to preview this film. I have read Ilan’s screenplay completely. I acted in a film called ‘Shatriyaan’ with Vikram Prabhu. There was also a scene of my song in the music of Yuvan in that film. It was filmed. It was later removed from the film. It was my first film. Since the song scene was deleted in it.. there was pain in my heart. I explained about this when I met Yuvan in person.
