Vijay Sethupathi has already had six releases for the year. However his long pending project Mellisai was long delayed.
The film was launched in December 2013, and is directed by debutant Ranjith Jeyakodi with Gayathri as the female lead.
Now makers of the movie have decided to change the name of the film and have decided upon ‘Puriyatha Puthir’ as the new title.
The decision is said to have made because this title suits the thriller story better. The movie is expected to be released in November.
‘Puriyatha Puthir’ is the title of director KS Ravikumar’s debut moive in 1990 which was a super hit thriller starring Rahman, Rekha and Raghuvaran.
