Popular Tamil film lyricist N Annamalai passed away in Chennai on Tuesday night. According to sources, he faced a massive heart attack and his end came soon after that.
“After he complained of chest pain, Annamalai was rushed to the Kilpauk medical college and hospital. But doctors there declared him dead,” sources said.
The 49-year-old is survived by his wife and daughter, who is just four. His popular works include ‘En uchi mandaila…’ in ‘Vettaikaran’, ‘Rathathin Rathame…’ in ‘Velayudham’, ‘Idicha Pacharisi…’ in ‘Uthamaputhiran’ and ‘Potadhu Pathala Mappila…’ in ‘Saguni’.
