Due to a bitter experience at a young age, the hero Rio Raj has no faith in marriage and family relationships including children. However, his girlfriend Gopi Ramesh is keen to get married and have a child. Due to this, there is a difference of opinion between the two and they separate. After the separation, Rio Raj finds out that Gopi Ramesh is pregnant and asks her to abort the fetus. Gopika Ramesh, who wants to have a child and live with Rio Raj, does not reveal her desire and agrees to Rio Raj’s decision. Did the hero abort the fetus growing in the girlfriend’s womb? Or did he change his mind through it? ‘Sweet Heart’ is an attempt to tell the story in a mix of romance and comedy.

Although Rio Raj has been actively trying to make a place in the hearts of the audience as a romantic hero, he has not been given the right plot for it. Although there is no shortage of acting in terms of intimacy and conflict with his girlfriend, Rio Raj is also not getting any traction because the chemistry with his girlfriend is not being developed.

Gopika Ramesh, who plays the heroine, has played the role of a woman who understands her lover’s mood and faces the situations without revealing it, despite having her own preferences.

Those who have played other roles including Arunachaleswaran and Powsi have done their jobs properly.

Although some songs in Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music seem to touch the heart, some songs have traveled in a strange way. The background music is mediocre.

Cinematographer Balaji Subramaniam has many close-ups of the hero and heroine. In particular, the film’s biggest weakness is the unnecessary close-ups of the hero Rio Raj, making him look flawed.

Even though it has a normal screenplay and visuals, editor Tamilarasan has adopted a non-linear method to tell it differently to the audience, and has edited the scenes in a way that does not confuse the audience.

Written and directed by Svineeth S. Sukumar, he has tried to talk about the importance of human relationships through love. Although the romantic chemistry between the hero and heroine is the main feature of the film, the biggest weakness of the film is that it is not captured in the film.

The screenplay and visuals that emphasize abortion derail the story that is supposed to tell the separation between a lover and a girlfriend and its pain, and make the audience not stick with the film.

Although some scenes are humorous in some places, when viewed as a whole, there is no impact on the love discussed in the film.
