‘Draupathi 2’ is being produced by Sivaji Productions, Sola Chakravarthy, and GM Film Corporation, and is directed by Mohan G and stars Richard Rishi!
It’s time to welcome ‘Draupati’ to the big screens. Director Mohan Ji and actor Richard Rishi have teamed up for ‘Rudra Thandavam’ and ‘Draupati’, which were both commercially and critically acclaimed. Now they are back together for ‘Draupati 2′. This time, the story is set in the backdrop of the 14th century. The story revolves around fierce warriors who never fade from the pages of history. The film is produced by Sivaji Productions’ Sola Chakravarthy in association with GM Film Corporation.
Both the first look and motion poster of the film captured the attention of fans and the film industry shortly after its release.
Speaking about this, director Mohan G said, “The title of the film and the response to the first look have made me happy. The shooting will begin in March. The entire shooting will take place in never-before-seen locations in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. The film will be released in theaters around the world by the end of this year.
“‘Draupati 2’ is set in the 14th century and revolves around the Hoysala dynasty. The film will tell the story of those valiant warriors who sacrificed their lives for the cause of Dharma,” he said.
The film will be made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. Ghibran Vaibodha will compose the music for the film. It is noteworthy that ‘Draupati 2’ is the first time that Mohan G and Ghibran Vaibodha have collaborated.
