Bala, who became popular with the public through a TV show and acted in small roles in some films, has developed a huge fan base as he has helped many people with the money he earns. Bala, who is currently one of the most popular people in Tamil Nadu, is making his debut as a hero with the film ‘Gandhi Kannani’.
The film, directed by Sheriff, who directed the film ‘Ranam’, is being produced by Jai Kiran under Adhimoolam Creations. Vivek – Mervin have composed the music, Balaji K. Raja has handled the cinematography. Sivanandeeswaran is editing the film.
Bala plays the lead role, while Namitha Krishnamoorthy plays the female lead. Director Balaji Sakthivel and Archana play important roles. Along with them, Nikila Shankar, Jeeva Subramanian, Amuthavanan, Manoj Prabhu, Madhan and many others have acted.
The press meet for the film ‘Gandhi Kannani’, which is set to hit the theatres on September 5, was held on August 27, the day of Vinayagar Chaturthi, at Bharani Studios, Chennai. The film crew participated in the event and shared information about the film.

I am grateful to Amuthavanan Annan for taking me along without expecting any reward, from being a Karaikal Bala to becoming a Gandhi Kannada Bala. I am also grateful to the media for publishing good news about me and helping me progress.
I have acted in a few films in cinema, but even though I act in many films, I will not be in them when the film is released. My name will be on the cast list, if you go to the theater and see me, I will not be in the film. I will not blame them for this, my scenes may have been removed for various reasons. This is why I have been continuously rejected in cinema. I have a lot of inferiority complex. I am also grateful to my brother Sheriff for making me a hero. He would tell stories to many people, the story would catch on, but when I was made a hero, the producers would back off. But, producer Jai Kiran sir, was determined that I should play the hero. In my house They won’t even prepare Rs. 5 lakhs for me, that’s how much my family and those around me are. But, I thank the producer sir for trusting me and spending crores of money. I thank everyone like Namitha Krishnamoorthy, Archana Madam, Balaji Sakthivel sir who said OK to act with me when many actresses refused to act. It is because of them that this film has become a big film.” He said.
When Sivakarthikeyan’s Madarasi film is released, your film is also released, why are you clashing with him like this? Responding to the question, actor Bala said, “Where is Sivakarthikeyan brother and where am I, nothing like that. We decided on a date to release Gandhi Kannada, but about 6 films are releasing on that date. Due to this, the producer and distributor have decided on September 5th, I don’t know about this. Director Sheriff brother called me and told me the matter, and when I heard that, I was shocked. I asked him how this will come out properly.
Sivakarthikeyan sir is a great actor, a lot of people will come for his film, but not everyone will get tickets, and those who don’t get tickets will watch our film, the director consoled me by giving a reason.
