Director Vishnuvardhan ‘Shershaah’ movie release on July 3, 2020

Now, it’s time for the celebrated director to exhibit his directorial prowess in Bollywood with his maiden debut out there – Shershaah. Produced by Karan Johar for Dharma Productions, the film featuring Siddarth Malhotra and Kiara Advani in lead roles is based on the true story of Kargil War Hero Captain Vikram Batra, which will have worldwide release on July 3, 2020.

Well, for director Vishnuvardhan, his journey with ‘Shershaah’ has been more like walking into unexplored wonderland. Gaining a significant recognition in the sub-continent for stylish neo-noir gangster thrillers has taken a leap into different genre for the first time through a biopic made on the India’s orthodox Kargil Hero. A well celebrated romantic hero like Siddarth Malhotra, who enjoys a broad fan base for his charismatic looks, ‘Shershaah’ has taken him into an unconventional route. addition, what’s going to be more intriguing about ‘Shershaah’ is the fact that it has been shot extensively in Kargil, Chandigarh and Palampur.

Scheduled for worldwide release on July 3, 2020, the film is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shabbir Boxwala, Ajay Shah and Himanshu Gandhi.
