Yuvan Shankar Raja about Hero Movie

Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja about Hero Movie
The ‘Hero’ team might be unconditional when it comes to praising Yuvan Shankar Raja for his songs and re-recording, but YSR has something different to say on a jocular note. “The team has created an impression by saying that my music is the biggest strength of this film, which is completely untrue. Frankly speaking, I was pretty astonished with the way, the film has been made. Each and every artiste and technician have imparted their heart and soul, thereby making final output look huge than what I heard as script. Absolutely, I was left with no options, but to push myself and give the best as much as I can. The way PS Mithran had created the scope for music gave me more creative freedom to try out something new. One among them is the 18-minute sequence, which was a challenging process for everyone in studios during re-recording. Although, I have already said this during the audio launch, I don’t mind repeating it again. It’s been a soul-satisfying experience for me.”

Getting on to speak about the film, Yuvan Shankar Raja says, “This is a film that I believe is the need of hour and the entire team has exerted its inmost efforts over nurturing it with excellence. There’s a famous saying ‘Heroes are not born, but they are made’ and I feel this film will extend the passage – “Heroes are not born, but they are made by situations.” The audiences will accept this as they watch the film and it will leave them in deep thinking as well. In addition, the stellar performances of Sivakarthikeyan, Action King Arjun sir, Abhay Deol, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Ivana and almost everyone in the team yielded the finest results. Kotapadi J Rajesh sir is the main reason behind the creation of ‘Hero’ and it’s only because of him, the film isn’t just successfully materialized alone, but has found a bigger reach through fabulous promotions and marketing.”

Scheduled for worldwide release on December 20, 2019, ‘Hero’ is produced by Kotapadi J Rajesh for KJR Studios. George C Williams (Cinematography), Ruben (Editing) and Dhilip Subbarayan (Stunts) are the other major technicians involved in the film.
