Dabangg 3 Tamil Pre-Release Event
Salman Khan, the emperor of box office along with his team ‘Dabangg 3’ including filmmaker Prabhu Deva, Kichcha Sudeep, KJR Studios Kotapadi J Rajesh, Saiee Manjrekar and others was present for the pre-release event. Here are some of the excerpts from the event.

Salman Khan said, “I have shared a deep connection with Chennai even before I became an actor. The first time, I came to Madras was to shoot an advertisement commercial for a beverage at Fishermen’s Cove. Later, I was here to shoot a Tamil movie with actress Revathi titled ‘Phir Milenge’. Of course, my biggest breakthrough ‘Wanted’ had the climax being shot herein Chennai for nearly a month time. I used to party a lot here and have tasted the best foods here. Of course, I am an avid watcher of Tamil movies and couple of films from here remade turned to be my biggest breakthrough that includes Vikram Kenny’s Sethu and Vijay’s Pokkiri. I am a huge fan of Superstar Rajinikanth sir and there are lots of moments that I spent with him. When the audio launch of 2.0 happened at YRF Studios in Mumbai, I just walked into the event and Rajini sir himself was shocked and surprised to see me there. Yes, I was an uninvited guest there and I just wanted to see him. Earlier, I spent time with him while doing a show together and he has shared a lot of things with my father. We in Bollywood are really happy about the way, the South Indian films perform there. Be it Baahubali or KGF, they have been received with warmth and love there. Similarly, we request you all to come and watch our ‘Dabangg 3’. Prabhu Deva is a man of few words, but a master blaster when it comes to direction and dance. I am sure, Dabangg 3 will be an enjoyable film for everyone in theatres. It will be more like a prequel to the first part, where you’ll get to see the actual story behind the birth of Chulbul Pandey. There is a lot of emotional sequences and we are missing Vinod Khanna sir a lot. We made his brother perform my father’s role in this film and it is like Vinod Khanna sir is still alive through him.”

Producer Kotapadi J Rajesh said, “Action + Fun + Dialogues + Mass” is going to be the formula of Dabangg 3 and it is going to have a massive release here. I would say that Dabangg 3 is going to be more like a direct Tamil movie and don’t get surprised when Salman sir speaks MGR’s famous punch dialogues. We are releasing the film in many screens and this will be the first ever time, a Hindi movie will get maximum screens herein Tamil Nadu.”

Actress Saiee Manjrekar said, “I am really privileged to have got my debut offer through such a huge project. I am looking forward to a good response from everyone and am confident Dabangg 3 will be definitely liked by all.”

Director Prabhu Deva said, “The decision about getting the film released in four languages was made even before the commencement of shooting. In fact, the story has been written in such a way that it will easily get adapted to the tastes of regional audiences.”

Actor Kichcha Sudeep started off jokingly saying, “It’s a privilege that I happened to act under the direction of Prabhu Deva rather than getting choreographed by him.” When he was asked if he made any preparations for the antagonist role as both the villains in previous installments were projected powerfully, Sudeep replied, “Well, there is no connection between Dabangg 3 and its previous installments except for Chulbul Pandey and the title. So there wasn’t any need for preparations and I have done what the makers required out of my role. Speaking about my physique, it was only because of the workouts I did for my movie ‘Pailwaan’, I could go shirtless or else it would have been Salman Khan. To be honest, you can’t beat him when it comes to fitness as he works out like a beast when he is at gym.”
