Following the wowing visuals and grandeur factors with three songs, the team “Saaho” including Prabhas, producer Pramod, Madan Karky and Vignesh Shivn were present for the occasion.
Madan Karky said, “I thoroughly enjoyed working with Prabhas sir and the entire team of Baahubali while working in that project.Now to work with Prabhas sir again is a bliss. I thank director Sujeeth for giving me a complete freedom in treating each song with fresh lyrics rather than translating. I personally love the song Mazhayum Theeyum that signifies hero as fire and heroine as water that coalesces up for a different emotion. I also admire this new song that is shot completely in pink tone and this is a number that I am deeply in love with after Poovukkul song in Jeans. I wish Prabhas sir to strike gold with this film and soon invite me to work in his Hollywood movie.”
Director Vignesh Shivn, who has written the song “Bad Boy” said, “Saaho has bridged the gap between Indian industry and Hollywood and I am really blessed to be a part of such a movie. I wish the entire team for the success.”
Director Sujeeth said, “I owe a lot to producers Vamsi and Pramod Anna for believing and encouraging me to make such a huge project. Working with Prabhas Anna was like a kid watching 3D movie for the first time. We are so much bonded like brothers and would stay at his home most of the times. My mother would even make fun of me saying that better I stay in his house. I didn’t exactly know the Tamil lines of songs in Saaho and when I got to know about the meaning, I just felt there’s lot of story involved. Hats off to Madan Karky sir for giving us such lyrics. Vignesh Shivn is like brother to me. The way he writes the songs are amazing and I intentionally wanted him to be a part of this film. Shankar Mahadevan sir has given a best music for the song “Unmaiyedhu Poi yedhu”, which was almost like shooting a stunt sequence.”
Actor Prabhas said, “The song “Unmaiyedhu Poiyedhu” is going to be screened now and it holds an important story. So we are not going to show the entire song as it involves some spoilers. The song is shot in 3 different concepts across the never seen before locations, which will definitely be a phenomenal experience for the Tamil audiences. I thank Madan Karky sir for this song, who has been my special friend from days of Baahubali and Shankar-Ehsan-Loy for giving a commendable music.”
Following the team’s interaction with press and media, the brand new song “Unmaiyedhu Poiyedhu” was screened that boasted of an incredibly mind-boggling visuals.
Scheduled for worldwide release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam simultaneously on August 30, 2019, Saaho has an ensemble star-cast including Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Arun Vijay, Lal, Murli Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Prakash Belavadi, Evelyn Sharma, Supreeth, Lal, Chunky Pandey, Mandira Bedi, Mahesh Manjrekar and Tinnu Anand.
Kenny Bates, Peng Zhang, Dhilip Subbarayan, Stunt Silva, Stefan, Bob Brown and Ram-Lakshman have choreographed action sequences. The others in the technical crew include Madhi (Cinematography), Sabu Cyril (Production Designer), Sreekar Prasad (Editing), RC Kamala Kannan (Visual Effects), Vaibhavi Merchant & Raju Sundaram (Choreography), Ghibran (Background Score) and Sync Cinema (Sound).
