‘Kalaimamani’ Padma Shankar is an internationally acclaimed violinist, vocalist as well as an educator. She is recognised for her beautiful musical expressions, creativity, grace and soulful playing.
She has had the privilege of being a student of a great violin maestro, Padmabhushan. Shri.Lalgudi G. Jayaraman. Padma, who has done her masters in music Padma is presently the advisor-affiliate of Shankar Mahadevan Academy an online university of music.
Padma is breaking new grounds in order to encourage music enthusiasts and fans across the world, to participate more in live music concerts and to inspire new audiences to enjoy and learn music.
