A limitless streak of accomplishments across the small screen biz and Mrs. Sujataa Vijaykumar transforms her first step in film industry into a ‘Leap’ indeed. Much obviously, the overpowering visual promos and songs of ‘Adanga Maru’ starring Jayam Ravi and Raashi Khanna in lead roles have struck its place in expectation radar distinctly. Having worked with a team of high potentials, producer Sujataa Vijaykumar shares her irresistible joy.
“Having been a part of several TV series, I wanted to choose and deliver something exceptional and at the same time, engrossing. I now see with the final output of ‘Adanga Maru’ is completely beyond my expectations. The entire team has made my dream come true now, where I personally as an audience is impressed with the film. In fact, all credit goes to the trenchant team work and I am sure, everyone will feel the same as they walk out of theatres post-the show,” says producer Sujataa Vijaykumar, who has strode striking gold with her small screen venture.
She goes on glorifying her entire team citing, “Jayam Ravi is significantly admired and ennobled as the “Safe Bet” for producers. But I realized that it’s not just for his proficient performance and choice of scripts, but the way he respects and values his producers. Hailing from a family of film production, he always keeps ‘Producers’ at the first place followed by the director. I am pretty firm and confident that Adanga Maru will stand out to be one of the hallmark films in his career. After working with Raashi Khanna, I personally feel that she isn’t someone, who should be limited to run of the mill roles, but she has the potential of scoring brownie points with challenging ones. Filmmaker Thangavel isn’t just the Captain of Ship, but its designer itself, where his unique talent of sketching every character with intense involvement will be the brilliant flashpoint. Be it the protagonist, antagonist or even the one with miniscule appearance, everyone will get retained in minds even after the show.”
Sujataa Vijaykumar is producing Adanga Maru for Home Movie Makers, which is scheduled for December 21 release for the occasion of Christmas weekend. The film has musical score by Sam CS and cinematography handled by Sathyan Sooryan with Ruben as the editor.
