Lyca, which recently announced that 2.0 collected Rs 400 crore plus in the opening four days of the movie, has now made another big announcement.
In a major boost to the flick, the production house has now stated that the movie will be released in 56,000 theatres in China in May 2019, of these 47,000 will be 3D screens.
The movie directed by Shankar which has superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson playing the lead roles was released on 29 November.
Though there was not much promotional activity for the movie, positive reviews spread by word of mouth ensured that the theatres screening the film had houseful shows in the weekend.
Meanwhile, the character poster of Vijay Sethupathi as Jithu from Petta was released by the production house Sun Pictures.
