Sarkar controversy comes to an end


The controversies surrounding Vijay starrer Sarkar has finally come to an end as the movie has been re-censored with the deletion of a few scenes.

The name Komalavalli used to refer Varalakshmi in the movie has been changed and the scene where the freebies are burnt by the people has been deleted.

The decision was taken after the AIADMK statewide protested against these scenes and demanded their removal as it portrayed the government and its schemes in a bad way.

Following this the movie is expected to be screen again from this evening. Earlier, superstar Rajinikanth came out in support of Sarkar team and tweeted: “After the Censor Board approved the film and released it, demanding certain scenes to be removed and damaging the film banners are unlawful acts. I strongly condemn this.”
