Shooting for Mani Ratnam’s flick Chekka Chivantha Vaanam resumed recently after the TFPC strike was called off.
Shooting spot pictures of the lead actors including Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami, Arun Vijay and Silambarasan from the movie were shared virally in social media.
Now the latest update is that Arvind Swami has completed shooting for his portions in the movie.
He confirmed this and tweeted,’Just Finished my work in Chekka Chivandha Vaanam. As always it was a privilege to work with Mani Sir, @santoshsivan, and the whole crew. #CCV will be special, can feel it. Now for a days rest and then start promotions for Bhaskar oru Rascal releasing on May11th.’
The star cast also includes Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Jyothikaa. Arvind Swamy and Jyothikaa will be playing husband and wife in the movie. Sources close to the project said that Jyothikaa acts as a feminist in the movie who is against male domination.
