Positive vibrations could be felt with the words we utter and sublime grace that brim up the places around. Actress Arthana has it all overwhelming within for the praises and words she renders upon her co-stars. The actress from God’s own country makes her debut in Kollywood with GV Prakash’s Semma scheduled for May 25 release. “More than being a co-star, it was a fan girl moment work to work with GV Prakash. I have watched all his movies, but it’s his musical embellishment that interests me a lot, especially his unparalleled mastery in rendering background score. We are now good friends,” starts off Arthana Binu.
So what really impressed her about ‘Semma’?
“The beautiful narration of Valliganth and the way my characterization Magizhini is sketched impressed me a lot. I play the role with girl-to-next door shades from the Southern part of Tamil Nadu backdrops. I would say that Magizhini true to her name would be someone that everyone among us would have definitely come across at some point in our lives. I am really thankful to Valliganth for helping me adapt this role with easiness,” says the ‘Semma’ actress.
Her next couple of projects is yet again the ones across countryside namely Karthi’s Kadaikutty Singam and Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu 2 with Vikranth. “I will be seen playing village belle in both these movies. I must say that being born and brought up in Thiruvananthapuram, I had always desired to dress up in half sarees like countryside girls. Sema has initiated my professional life. Iam eagerly awaiting the release of “Sema” on 25th May. Iam eager to watch the film with the audience ” signs off Arthana, who affirms that her next league of movies will have her in urban girl roles.
