Actor Rajinikanth recently voiced out his opinion in the Cauvery issue and tweeted that the only way to solve the Cauvery dispute is by forming of the board.
On Saturday, he made a statement in the Sterlite row which another burning issue in the state.
In his Tweet Rajinikanth slammed the government for being a silent spectator whwn people have been protesting againat the Sterlite factories.
‘People are affected by various diseases due to the sterlite factories and are suffering more by protesting for 47 days. It is perplexing that the government that gave permission for setting up the factories remains a silent spectator without taking any action at all,’ he tweeted.
It may be noted that Makkal Neethi Maiam party founder Kamal Haasan joined the people protesting in Thoothukudi on Sunday.
